Supporting men through difficulties in their mental and physical ill health, ultimately to prevent suicide.

ManHealth team up and under with Mowden Park Rugby Club

ManHealth have announced that we are teaming up with Darlington Mowden Park Rugby Club for the 2023/24 season.


As well as working together across the season and installing a display board in the stadium. ManHealth have sponsored the club's Round 18 clash against Richmond on Saturday 10th February, and we will have volunteers on site to spread awareness of their work in the local community.

Asked about the new partnership, DMP Community Manager Carl Guest said: "We're proud to be working with ManHealth this season. Chris and the team do some incredible work in the local community and we're pleased to play a small part in that going forward."

Darlington Mowden Park are also a charity partner of this year’s CEO Sleepout Darlington, taking place at the Arena on Monday 13th November.

Renewable Field Services, 3 Peak Challenge

On the 05 May 2024 Renewable Field Services took on a massive challenge to do the 3 peaks, they raised a wonderful total of £4393.00 for us at ManHealth that will help us to continue the much needed free to attend peer support groups for men. Robbie Woods, Lucinda Winstanley, James Gowland, Sam Bullock, Ellis Collings, Heather Lynn, David Welsh, Benn Faulkner, Jack Welsh, Mick Jobson, all signed up for the event.

24hrs, 36 sore feet, 50 miles and 8 football grounds.

18 brave men from Newton Aycliffe had the will to walk 50 miles in 24 hours and visit many local football grounds to raise awareness of men's mental health and male suicide. The walk began at Newton Aycliffe FC on Saturday 27 April and finished at the same place the following morning. The men visited Shildon, Bishop Auckland, West Auckland, Willington, Crook and Tow Law FC during the 24 marathon. Thanks to Bishop Auckland Chairman Steve Coulthard for refreshments and Shildon Alive for providing much needed early evening sandwiches. The men raised the outstanding total of £4449.46 to support ManHealth continue their life saving work in our region.
