I AM HERE

We were blown away by the number of people who shared posts, photos, stories and videos about their own experiences.

On Sunday 4th April 2021, ManHealth launched a new campaign intended to flood social media with positive messages of support for people struggling with mental ill-health.

This day marked the anniversary of our very first peer support group, three years ago. We wanted to honour this occasion by making some noise and encouraging people to talk about their mental health and wellbeing.

We launched our first I AM HERE campaign and asked people to join us in sharing a message to their Facebook, Twitter or Instagram accounts using the hashtag #iamhere.

I AM HERE but I need help.
I AM HERE to support you.
I AM HERE but I'm struggling.
I AM HERE because I got help.

Our ultimate goal was to showcase the love and support out there - to demonstrate that we all struggle sometimes, that there is no shame in needing help and that we are here to support those who need us.

We were blown away by the number of people who shared posts, photos, stories and videos about their own experiences.

Huge thanks to everyone who took part in our first I AM HERE campaign.
